Thank you for sharing this! I recently read Deep Work (and highly recommend it if you haven’t read it already) which also tackles a similar question — how do we produce high-quality (“deep”) work in a world where we are constantly being distracted and lose track of what we are supposed to be doing, and when it’s easy to do the non-creative (“shallow”) work to feel productive? I have been working on my own way to structure my days to do this, and your task system and morning routine really resonates with me.
